Buddy and his staff provide outstanding workmanship. I have never experienced a need for a call-back or a repair in any of my projects with Lipscomb Roofing. A most important aspect of any construction project, whether it’s new construction or a remodeling job, is adherence to the overall schedule. Timing is all-important. A roof can not be applied until certain tasks are completed, and no finish or electrical work can be started until a building is waterproofed. In this regard, Buddy is remarkable. By keeping him apprised of scheduling variances, Buddy is able to plan his arrival exactly when needed. Equally important, he never leaves a job until it’s completed. I have never had a scheduling issue with Buddy; he is immediately responsive and works continuously and diligently.

When I was in need of a reputable roofing contractor I consulted a highly respected general contractor in the area. Without hesitation he referred me to Lipscomb Roofing and Buddy Lipscomb. Buddy was not the only roofing contractor I interviewed for the job but I immediately felt that he was honest, very experienced, knowledgeable, sincere and I knew I would be comfortable working with him. I also looked at other jobs he had done in the area and was convinced of his integrity. Mine was not a big job but I felt he treated me with the same respect and job performance he would provide any customer. He was on schedule, within his original bid, the job site was immaculate and the entire process was seamless from start to finish. Though the job was small it had it's challenges and I think Buddy handled them perfectly. I was very pleased with the outcome. So pleased in fact that I had a second home re roofed and Buddy did the same terrific job he had done initially. He even handled a roofing inspector's concerns; in the end Buddy was proven right and he saved me valuable time and money. It is not easy these days to find a professional service person whom one would recommend wholeheartedly, with NO reservation, to others. I have found one in Buddy Lipscomb! Starting with his first visit to our property, he demonstrated excellent listening skills, and then followed up with several potential roofing plans that could satisfy our criteria. He took the time to articulate the pros and cons of each proposal for our situation. Upon having signed a contract with his company for the removal of our old shake roof and the installation of a new tri-laminate roof, he proceeded to orchestrate a seamless job from start to finish (i.e. obtaining our permit, overseeing the take off and underlayment-installation crew, coordinating arrival times of deliveries, timely purchasing of supplies, and ultimately doing the entire new roof installation by himself!) One day when I asked Buddy why he didn't hire co-workers to work with him, he responded, "I want to be sure that every job is done perfectly. If I do it myself, I KNOW that everything's been done right." After the roofing project was complete and the final bill had been paid, Buddy reappeared a few days later and pulled patching materials out of his truck. When I asked him what they were for, he reported that he had noticed that one of the big delivery trucks had damaged the paving in a small corner of our driveway. He added, "I couldn't sleep until I repaired it!"
